Mr. Ashok Batra, is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is an alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi. He has excellent academic credentials and vast exposure in the field of Taxation with specialization in Service Tax and VAT/Sales Tax. He possesses invaluable experience of more than 26 years in Business and Taxation Consultancy.

He is a visiting faculty for the various Branches and Study Circles of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has been awarded for his exemplary services and contribution to the profession in the year 2000 & 2004 by the NIRC of ICAI.

He worked as the Convener of Sales Tax Study Group of NIRC of ICAI from 2001 up till 2003 and was awarded for his distinguished services as the Convener in the year 2002. At present he is acting as an Advisor of the Excise & Customs Study Group of NIRC of ICAI and a nominated member of the Study Group of the Sales Tax Bar Association (Regd.) of Delhi.

His 26 years of understanding and experience of Taxation Laws has enabled him to author a number of books on Service Tax and Value Added Tax. He has extensively written on the subject of Service Tax, Sales Tax and Value Added Tax for professional and economic journals. He was awarded with the Best Article of the Year award in 2003 by the NIRC of ICAI.

He has addressed many seminars & conferences organized by Professional Bodies, Chamber of Commerce and Trade Associations at several places in India. He has also delivered numerous talks on Service Tax and VAT at various forums.

Is a commerce graduate from Allahabad University. He became a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, in the year 1991. Thereafter, he joined M/s. A.K.Batra & Associates as a partner. He has got more than 17 years of rich and varied experience in the fields of auditing and taxation.

Has done his B. Com (Hons) from Sri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi in the year 2000. Qualified and became member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2001. He joined the firm as a partner and became one of the youngest at the age of 23 years to hold 3 qualifications after clearing the examinations in Information System Audit i.e., DISA from ICAI and CISA from ISACA, USA.

Mr. Raj Jaggi, is one of the most qualified member of team of A.K.Batra & Associates. He is M.Com & B.Ed. and holds the professional qualifications of Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and Cost Accountant.

Completed his graduation from Delhi University in the year 2001. Qualified and became member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2006. He joined the firm in 2006.

Completed his graduation from Meerut University in the year 1983. In 1988, he was awarded the certificate for practising in sales tax by Delhi Sales Tax Authorities. He joined the firm in 1996 and he has got more than 18 years of rich experience of dealing in Sales Tax.
